I’d Like To Go Alone

This is my butterfly project from the poem ”I’d Like To Go Alone” By Alena Synková talking about her hope in the Jewish community despite the fact Nazis are killing her hope.

Life is Beautiful Movie Review

Wow... this movie was really amazing it was a swing of emotions, laughter, sadness, happiness, all of those emotions in this movie. Some questions I still have how did the doctor have a connection with Gulio during the checkups? Also, how did the mom react to knowing that her husband died? But overall this was a good movie and I wasn’t expecting the ending of the movie it made me very sad.

Saturday Night Dirt

Saturday Night Dirt… was a good book I really liked it and it wasn’t something I thought I would like but I liked it very much at the end. Something that makes this book unique is the fact that we have about 6 different prospectives of 6 different racers, racing at the same speedway all talking about how they are preparing before the race at headwaters speedway. Another thing thing that makes this book unique is that if you read this book you could learn about some cars in about 3 to 4 pages talking about 6 and for cylinder engine and how role cages work and all this cool stuff that if you’re a car person you will love. Also one of my favorite parts of the book is when Beau is racing and it’s the last few laps but someone wins and I’m not going to spoil it but the winner is an underdog and you’ll have to read it to see who wins.

All American Boys

All American Boys is a novel writen by Brendan Kiely and Jason Reynolds. This book is different from any I’ve read you are able to see the prospective from different characters in the book but one to keep your eye on is Rashad he is the eye catcher of the story he is the one who this story revolves around. So basically Rashad is a well student he does good in school and he is an ROTC (Reserve Officers' Training Corps) , he plays sports, popular at his school, just a normal kid. Until On night after school he goes to Jerry’s a corner store to buy chips and after just 5 minuets is getting beat by a cop outside ribs broke, fists being thrown into him, blood pouring out; what could’ve caused this maybe the fact that he’s black or the situation he was in. You’ll have to read to find out the rest. I think my favorite part of this book was the fact that we are able to see different prospectives of people in this book I like this because I really never read a book like this and I think you the audience should read this book.

Serenity

One word Serenity living the word will do so much for me like knowing that i will be staying calm and in peace and not getting frustrated or mad in any was, shape, or form. Knowing that i will be having serenity in my life is the best thing ever having the wisdom to know the difference ; and courage to change the things I can. This connects to me so well it tell me to just to understand what things I can change and it tell me what I can change.  Living this word will make me and my 2018 better overall learning things that I can do and things I can’t! I chose this word because I have realized that there are something’s I can change but I don’t change like getting word done or being a better, nice, more caring person so I believe this word if I stick to it it’ll change me so much.

Red scarf girl - After the book

After reading Red scarf girl I was very surprised at how the book ended; it was an amazing book I would recommend to people how are looking for an interesting, touching book to read. The book is wrote by Ji-li Jiang a girl who was born in 1954 but he story begins in 1966 when she’s 12 at the beginning of the Cultural Revolution. In this Revolution Chairman Mao changes most things about the Asian culture, you were looked down upon is you were a rightist or landlord. And in Ji-Li case she finds out that her fathers, father or her grandpa was a landlord and her whole class status was changed she was a scholar at her school, she never got in trouble, and she always did extra work to be the best she could be. But she wanted to become a Red guard; Red guards were like cultural police they made sure nothing was against everything Chairman Mao put into order but as we know her class status put her into a position where she could not become a Red guard and therefore her home was raided twice, her father taken from her and he was beat, and they were looked upon differently. But you’ll have to read the rest of the story yourself if you want to know what happens in the rest of the story it is very touching.
